About Glenda Meyer

Glenda Meyer is a Senior Loan Officer at Mann Mortgage, a direct lender, in Carmel Valley.  She has over 20 years experience in mortgage banking and real estate.  She has held a real estate broker’s license since 1990 and holds a mortgage license in 4 states. She is enrolled in the Certified Mortgage Banker program with the Mortgage Bankers Association, their highest certification.  She is also certified to teach continuing education classes to Realtors.  She is passionate about helping homebuyers realize their dreams and partnering with Realtors to increase their business.

Glenda avoided the entire subprime bubble and chose to concentrate on FHA and VA loans.  “The happiest clients are the ones who didn’t think they could buy and are now homeowners”, she says with a smile.  Glenda has personally closed over 2,500 loans and trained over 150 other mortgage professionals.  She also has experience as an REO Asset Manager for a hedge fund and a Short Sale Negotiator for a major loan servicer.  This “behind the scene” perspective gives her the advantage to help negotiate short sales and REO offers to get them accepted and closed on time.

Glenda’s commitment to her clients and Realtors is reflected in the high percentage of personal referrals from past clients. “My clients come back to me because they know I’ll tell them the truth, good and bad, and help them decide for themselves what is best”.   She lives in Rancho Penasquitos with her two children and enjoys snow skiing, the beach and going to concerts.
